Flower Remedies use the essences of flowers to alleviate emotional and stress related conditions.
The best-known flower remedies are those developed by Dr Edward Bach. He classified the various modes into seven categories - fearfulness, uncertainty, loneliness, lack of interest, over-sensitivity, despondency and despair and over concern for the welfare of others. He then sub - divided these into a further 38 negative feelings.
Each is treated by a particular flower remedy. Rescue Remedy, which is a mixture of five remedies, is probably the best known and is used for severe shock.
