Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the systematic use of essential oils in treatments to improve physical and emotional well being and have been used in healing for thousands of years. Each aromatic oil, extracted from different parts of plants, has unique and therapeutic properties, which can be utilised very effectively to improve health and prevent disease. Both of their physiological and psychological effects combine well to promote positive health and a state of equilibrium.
The natural plant oils are used in massage, in the bath and can be inhaled. They are readily absorbed through the skin and have powerful physiological effects.
Aromatherapy is well known for its use and effectiveness in stress related problems and chronic conditions.
