I am a ‘Sarling Technique’ Body Mechanics Holistic Musculoskeletal Therapist who has been working within the field of Holistic Therapy for a number of years. I am also a qualified teacher in the therapy for both student training and ‘Sarling Technique’ Precision exercise along with remedial therapy classes. My passion to help people who suffer with musculoskeletal problems and improve the health service, I am also working in collaboration with Louise To who owns the Harlow Toning Tables Therapy Centre along with her husband to raise the importance of this therapy in helping with rehabilitation exercise, pre/post op and the importance of continual passive movement. Louise and myself started with a small unit and have now opened a shop together called the Harlow Holistic Therapy Centre where we offer a number of holistic treatments and we hope to continue to grow in bringing holistic therapy to many more people.
Previously I worked within the scientific industry for over 19 years supporting various therapeutic groups including Pain, Psychiatry, Translational Pharmacological Sciences, Neuroprotection, Neurodegeneration, Gastrointestinal Diseases, MRI, Metabolism, Genetics and Respiratory research. My belief in the importance of treating the physical, mind and body is not only due to my education, experience and training but also my own physical conditions. I have been involved with ‘Focus on the Patients’ awareness clinics along with presenting at schools and colleges as a Science Ambassador for STEMNET.My scientific background coupled with my holistic understanding enables me to share my experience strength and hope to clients, providing advice. My approach of treating the whole body ‘holistically’ helps and empowers others to improve their quality of life. My passion to help people who suffer with musculoskeletal problems and improve the health service, resulted in voluntary involvement with the NHS West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group, focussing on improving musculoskeletal services; representing the ‘voice’ of the patient and complementary therapy.
